I've seen a lot of threads of people asking why Mineplex can't install the API software and disable the use of the mini-map on their server, which many other servers have already done, and I've seen replies along the lines of "We don't know who it's coded by, and we'd rather not take the risk of installing an API software that isn't coded by someone we trust," which again, I feel is completely reasonable, because it never hurts to be safe, especially when you're talking about a platform such as Mineplex that reaches hundreds-of-thousands of people everywhere around the world.
However, since BLC has a mini-map plugin, the Mineplex Staff Team feels that this would be an unfair advantage since it basically acts as a map, and allows you to see any person's location in any given point of time, which I feel is completely reasonable. are unable to be compatible with BLC, which in my opinion is a very good thing. When the server shut down, the Developers wanted to invest more time and money into BLC to make it better, simpler, and overall a more enjoyable way for its players to play Minecraft, while also helping reduce the amount of cheaters, because if you didn't know, you can't inject anything into BLC, so hacked clients like Vape, LiquidBounce, etc. So, as many of you know, BLC is a client-side anti-cheat program developed by the team that owned the once popular pvp server, Badlion.
